Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships

Deadline for Expressions of Interest for the 2017 Round is 28th July 2017

Member institutes of the School of Advanced Study (SAS) welcome proposals from suitably qualified applicants for the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships scheme. These prestigious grants support individual, transnational fellowships for promising researchers seeking employment in member states, associated countries and some non-associated countries*. Applications are made jointly by the researcher and host organisation.

The School will accept applications for three of the five panels: European Fellowships, Reintegration and Career Restart. Funding for European fellowships will support eligible researchers for a period of 12 to 24 months. The living allowance reference rate for experienced researchers is €55,800 per year (€4,650 per month). Researchers in some categories will also receive a monthly mobility allowance of €600 and a family allowance of €500 per month.

Deadline: Thursday 14 September 2017

Process: Expressions of interest must be submitted before 14 July 2017 to the director of their chosen institute, copying The expression of interest should include:

  • CV
  • A 100-word abstract
  • An outline (2 pages maximum) of the research proposal, including intended publication outputs
  • Identification of potential mentor (if not the director)

Applicants to be supported by the School of Advanced Study will be informed by 28 July 2017. Thereafter the School protocols will be explained to the applicants and all necessary support structures will be put in place to ensure the application can be submitted in time for the deadline.

*In addition to the associated countries, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Hong Kong & Macau, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Taiwan, have specific provisions for making funding available for their participants in Horizon 2020 projects and may be eligible for this call.
