The Research Services Team provides support to all of the Central Univesrity Departments (the School, Senate House Library and University of London in Paris). The Team oversees all aspects of pre and post award research management and administration as well as provides support on the management of research outputs.

Research Finance Officer

The Research Services at the School of Advanced Study, University of London is looking for a Research Finance Officer, to start as soon as possible to assist in the delivery of integrated and effective Research support services to the School and University users. With prior experience in the sector and preferably in a research administrative and finance environment, the post holder's role will be crucial in our efforts to maximise our ability to financially plan, manage, monitor and report on our research grants and contracts appropriately.

They will work collaboratively with a team of colleagues to deliver a high-quality pro-active support in pre and post award financial administration, and coordinate the University’s TRAC (Transparent approach to costing) return. They will need to work independently as well as with others, and use their very high attention to detail and investigative approach to manage and review financial data and produce a variety of reports for both internal and external use.
