Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2022

Deadline for Expressions of Interest for the 2022 round is 8th July 2022

The School of Advanced Study is inviting Expressions of Interest for the 2022 round of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships scheme (deadline Friday 8th July 2022)

Member institutes of the School of Advanced Study (SAS) and the University of London Institute in Paris (ULIP) welcome proposals from suitably qualified applicants for the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2022 scheme (previously known as Individual Fellowships). These prestigious grants support individual, transnational fellowships for promising researchers seeking employment in member states, associated countries and some non-associated countries. Applications to this scheme are made jointly by the researcher and host organisation.

The Application Deadline is: 14th September 2022

Process: Expressions of interest must be submitted by 17:00 (British Summer Time) on Friday 8th July 2022 to the director of their chosen institute, copying research@sas.ac.uk. The expression of interest should include:

  • CV
  • A 100-word abstract
  • An outline (2 pages maximum) of the research proposal, including intended publication outputs
  • Identification of potential mentor (if not the director)

Applicants to be supported by the University will be informed by Friday 15th July 2022. At this point, the University protocols will be outlined to the applicants and all necessary support structures will be put in place to ensure the application can be submitted in time for the deadline.

UKRO Factsheet on MSCA and Mobility to the UK: A new factsheet on the UKRO Portal gives information on potential visa options for researchers coming to the UK on Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) schemes. The Institute of Modern Languages Research hosted a workshop on applications for this scheme on 7th July 2021 (while this workshop had a focus on Latin Americanists, it may still be of use to all applicants) - you can view the workshop presentation at the following page: https://www.sas.ac.uk/videos-and-podcasts/culture-language-and-literature/marie-curie-postdoctoral-fellowship-workshop

We have produced a 'Frequently Asked Questions' document related to questions that arose from the above workshop, which you can download here.
