Public Engagement Training
Each year, the SAS Public Engagement team programme a series of training sessions alongside Being Human Festival, the UK's national festival of the humanities.
Whether you are a researcher with experience in engagement or are trying out public engagement for the first time, the training series covers some of the key knowledge and skills to help you connect the wider public with research.
While the sessions are primarily aimed at those taking part, or thinking of taking part, in Being Human Festival, they are open to all, and have been designed to be of interest to public engagement professionals and researchers at HEIs and research organisations who want to learn more about public engagement in the humanities.
Each training session is led by an expert facilitator, alongside members of the SAS Public Engagement team. All sessions are free of charge, but booking is required. Browse upcoming sessions below. This year's sessions will run from April to October 2024.
