Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025

The School of Advanced Study invites Expressions of Interest for the 2025 round of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships scheme.

Member Institutes and the Digital Humanities hub of the School of Advanced Study (SAS) and the University of London Institute in Paris (ULIP) welcome proposals from suitably qualified applicants for the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships scheme (previously known as Individual Fellowships).

These prestigious grants support individual, transnational fellowships for promising researchers seeking employment in member states, associated countries and some non-associated countries. Applications to this scheme are made jointly by the researcher and host organisation.

Deadlines

  • The UoL Deadline for Expressions of Interest for the 2025 round is 4 July 2025
  • The Funder's Application Deadline is: 10 September 2025

The Process

Process: Expressions of interest must be submitted by 17:00 (British Summer Time) on Friday 4 July 2025 to the Director of their chosen Institute, copying [email protected]. The expression of interest should include:

  • A short statement on the skills you believe will be enhanced through coming to the University of London and undertaking the fellowship (100 words maximum)
  • An outline (2 pages maximum) of the research proposal, including intended publication outputs
  • IMPORTANT: You are required to identify and name a potential mentor based at SAS or ULIP whose research aligns with your proposal and could support you.

Applicants to be supported by the University will be informed by Friday 11 July 2025. At this point, the University protocols will be outlined to the applicants and all necessary support structures will be put in place to ensure the application can be submitted in time for the deadline.

Equality, diversity and inclusion

We prioritise creating an inclusive culture that promotes equality and diversity in all aspects of our practices and activities. We acknowledge that diversity and difference are fundamental to the success and growth of our university. We recognise that in higher education, there are underrepresented groups in the academic community.

Therefore, we actively encourage applications from individuals who identify as part of an underrepresented group, including, but not limited to, women, ethnic minorities, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and individuals from low-income backgrounds. We value and appreciate the diverse perspectives and experiences that these individuals bring to the academic community and are committed to promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
