  • The classroom remains the most radical space of possibility in the academy. bell hooks

A seminar where participants are invited to think aloud together and collectively challenge what a seminar is for. Inspired in particular by the work of bell hooks, we call scholars, artists and writers to gather, consciously hold the space between us, and attend to open-ended questions about the use of critical thinking and what it means to delight in the space of the classroom.

Convenors: Emily Orley (Guildhall), Clare Lees (IES), Katja Hilevaara (Goldsmiths), Joe Ford (ILCS)

Please note that this event is taking place at the slightly later time of 6.00pm

Unless stated otherwise, all our events are free of charge and anyone interested in the topic is welcome to attend. Registration is required for all events.
