Keynote speakers: Ann Jefferson (University of Oxford) and Sarga Moussa (CNRS)

The 22nd annual conference of the Society of Dix-Neuviémistes of the UK and Ireland, will take place from 10 to 12 April in Senate House, London, and UCL. The conference, which takes as its theme 'Secrecy and Unveiling', will bring together scholars of nineteenth-century French studies from all over the world. Topics will include novelistic decryptions, the secrets of art, the motif of the veil, open secrets, literary  hoaxes, and medical revelations.  Ann Jefferson and Sarga Moussa will deliver the keynote talks.
