This annual series of in-person talks and Q&A, followed by drinks and discussion, will take place each month, alternating between rooms in the University of London and in the Garden Court Chambers. A drinks reception will follow where speakers and other participants can continue the conversations in a more informal and relaxed setting.

“Third-country processing of asylum-seekers and the Rwanda plan”
This session assesses the far-reaching implications for domestic legal practice and foreign policy of third country processing schemes, such as the Rwanda deal proposed by the UK. Now the Supreme Court has given a definitive answer to the lawfulness of the original Rwanda proposals, we consider the future direction that government decision making is likely to take and what legal issues are likely to ensue.
