Visit the exhibition Tarot – Origins & Afterlives after hours and stay for a tarot reading in the gallery with participating artist Courtney Alexander.

Please note that readings are on a first come, first served basis, and will last approximately 15 minutes each. Please arrive early to avoid any disappointment. Readings will take place in Room V of the exhibition, inside the “Tarotkammer”, and therefore other artworks on display in this room will not be viewable unless you are receiving a reading.

Courtney Alexander is a multimedia artist, writer, and worldbuilder whose work challenges and expands the narratives of Blackness, fatness, and queerness within visual storytelling. She is the creator of Dust II Onyx, a history-making tarot deck that stands as the first widely distributed deck created by a Black artist. Born in the small town of Pahokee, Florida, Courtney’s work is rooted in honouring memory, myth, and the untold stories that shape our futures. Whether through art, community dialogue, or spiritual exploration, she invites us to reimagine freedom—beyond the narratives we’ve been given.

NO BOOKING REQUIRED TO VISIT THE GALLERY AFTER 6.00PM
