Refugee Law Clinic Summer Event 2024
Join us for an end-of-year celebration for the Refugee Law Clinic!
This event will bring together staff, volunteers and partners of the UoL Refugee Law Clinic to celebrate the clinic's work over the past year. It is also open to members of the public.
We will have a presentation by Clinic staff, Zoe Gardner (independent researcher on migration policy and campaigner) and by a group of Refugee Law Clinic volunteers.
Our keynote speaker for the event, Zoe Gardner, is an independent researcher on migration policy and a campaigner for the rights of all migrants and refugees across Europe and in the UK. She has previously held roles in policy, advocacy and communications at a number of migrants' rights organisations including the European Network on Statelessness, the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants, and Asylum Aid. She now divides her time between research, grassroots and parliamentary campaigns, and contributing to conversations about migrant rights in print and broadcast media.
Following the presentations there will be a drinks reception.
This event is free to attend but advance registration is required.
