How do you go about sharing your research as a presentation, whether at a conference or in a more informal setting? This session explores ways of translating your work into a short talk, including distilling your ideas into key points, writing scripts vs. using bullet points, how to present work in progress, and handling questions.

This session can be taken as a stand-alone seminar; however, there will be a more detailed look at visual style and slide design in the 18 March session, Designing a Presentation.

Session Leader: Elizabeth Dearnley (Edinburgh Napier University)
