Out of the Wings Monthly Table Read

This event will be held in person and online

Join Out of the Wings for a table read and discussion of The Seven Against Thebes by Cuban playwright Antón Arrufat, translated from Spanish into English by William Gregory.

During the event, we will read the play in full and then open a discussion about its translation into English, possibilities for performance and resonances in other contexts. The event is free and open to all. Out of the Wings welcomes playwrights, directors, actors, translators, students, researchers and practitioners with an interest in theatre translation.

Out of the Wings is a Theatre Translation Collective which continues the work of the AHRC-funded Out of the Wings project (2008-2012).
