Join this half-day online conference exploring the contribution of Institutes of Advanced Study to the research ecosystem. 

Institutes of Advanced Study facilitate cutting edge research, develop innovative methods and new ways of thinking, and foster opportunities for global interdisciplinary collaboration. 

Featuring expert speakers from leading international research institutes, this conference will consider the value of Institutes of Advanced Study to the wider research ecosystem in Britain, Ireland and beyond, and ask how this contribution can be strengthened in the future.

This event is organised by the Consortium of Institutes of Advanced Study (CIAS), which comprises 23 research institutes based within universities in Great Britain and Ireland. CIAS aims to enhance the visibility of research institutes in the UK, Ireland and abroad.
