The purpose of the event is to appraise practitioners, academics and policy makers of recent developments in Extradition, Mutual Legal Assistance and Proceeds of Crime. A new research initiative to improve trust cross border will be showcased and short presentations on each of the above will be given.

The event is organised by the European Criminal Law Association as apart of their annual series of events which normally examines the above subjects in its final year seminar.
 
In the chair will be Associate Professor at Durham University and speakers will include Anand Doobay a practitioner and well known writer on Extradition law. HHJ Hopmeier who edits the leading textbook on Proceeds of Crime.
