The Folio at 400: Book Launch and Retrospective of the Anniversary Year
This roundtable discussion will include the launch of a special issue of the Italian Association of Shakespeare and Early Modern Studies devoted to the anniversary of the publication of Shakespeare’s First Folio.

The launch will offer a starting point for a retrospective on how other publications and events have marked the anniversary year. The roundtable will soon open to seminar participants, some of whom will have been directly involved in some of the other publications and events under discussion.
The seminar will offer participants the unique opportunity to view copies of the four Folios housed at Senate House Library. This private viewing has kindly been set up with the assistance of Head Library, Lucy Evans. The viewing will take place at Senate House Library, from 16:30 to 17:15. Room numbers will be confirmed nearer to the time in an email sent to registered attendees.
