This seminar uses extended life story interviews to explore forms of environmental interest and indifference in the working worlds of agriculture, ecology, nature conservation and community development in Britain in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.  

Paul Merchant is an oral historian and researcher at National Life Stories, The British Library.
