Session Leader: Elizabeth Dearnley (Edinburgh Napier University)

How do you write a concise, compelling introduction, build up an effective argument within the main body of your work, or round things off in the conclusion?

This session focuses on essays and shorter pieces of writing. Students are invited to send the workshop leader a short paragraph (c.150-200 words) - either an introductory or concluding paragraph, or one from the main body of their work - which they are happy for the others to read and discuss as a group. Please email your paragraph to elizabeth.dearnley@gmail.com before 20th March.

All welcome

This event is free to attend, but booking is required. It will be held online with details about how to join the virtual event being circulated via email to registered attendees 24 hours in advance.
