We are sorry to announce the Irish Studies Seminar scheduled for 23 January 2025 has been cancelled. Our speaker Professor Claire Connolly is unable to join us due to urgent family matters. Apologies for the inconvenience. Should the speaker become available for a different date, we will re-schedule the seminar for a future date.
About the speaker:
Claire Connolly is Professor of Modern English, University College Cork. She is a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales, a Member of the Royal Irish Academy and a Corresponding Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. She is a member of the Editorial Board for Cambridge Studies in Romanticism and currently serves as Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Secretary for the Royal Irish Academy.
