Book launch for The Victoria County of Middlesex: St George Hanover Square
We are pleased to invite you to the launch The Victoria History of Middlesex: St George Hanover Square (University of London Press) by Dr Francis Calvert Boorman. The book is in the Victoria County History’s Shorts series and is the first for over 100 years to recount the development of an area that stretches from Mayfair and Hyde Park, through Belgravia and Pimlico, to the Thames. The event will also mark the 300th anniversary of the parish and is generously hosted by the rector, Roderick Leece.
Join us at the parish church for a talk and Q&A session with Dr Boorman starting at 11.30am, followed by some fizz. There will be an opportunity to buy the book at a discounted price.
