Beginner Renaissance Latin 2025
The Warburg Institute offers Beginner Renaissance Latin as a virtual class via Zoom over five intensive days either side of a weekend break: 10-12 & 15-16 September 2025.
The course is designed for total beginners. It will focus on the rudiments of the Latin language, but with a key aim of helping students develop the ability and confidence to navigate their way around a range of early modern primary sources in Latin from the fourteenth to the seventeenth century. It is designed as a complement and preface to our two-term intermediate course in Late Medieval and Renaissance Latin, which runs between October and March.
