75th National Postgraduate Colloquium in German Studies
The National Postgraduate Colloquium in German Studies will hold its 75th meeting at King’s College, Cambridge. The Colloquium provides a friendly, informal forum for postgraduate students in all areas of German Studies to present and discuss their current research and make contact with students from other universities.
Launched in 1987 as an initiative of the Institute of Germanic Studies (forerunner of the ILCS) at the University of London, the Colloquium met first on an annual basis, then from 1988, twice annually, with one meeting held at the Institute in London, and the second hosted by another university in the UK. It is a measure of its success that the Colloquium now regularly attracts students from universities in mainland Europe and North America.
The Colloquium is organised by a committee drawn from several universities.
All are welcome to participate. Advance online registration is essential. The £10 fee covers refreshments.
