In 1868, nine pioneering women were admitted to the University of London - the first time in Britain women had gained access to university education. Throughout 2018 the University is celebrating this 150th anniversary with a series of events and activities.

Dare to join us on Wednesday 23 May for the third in our Living Literature series, an epic thriller brought to life through immersive performances, talks, workshops and activities. Welcome to the world of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein!

Self-Impressions
Take part in hands-on experiments and explore how self-images and other marks we leave in the world change who we are and how we feel in a special event at Tate Exchange specially curated by philosophers and neuroscientists from the Institute of Philosophy.
Explore how the images of ourselves that we choose to produce and share, shape our sense of self.
