Being Human Festival Launch with Lemn Sissay

We warmly invite you to join us online on for the virtual Being Human festival launch. Showcasing snippets from this year’s nationwide celebration of the humanities themed around 'Renewal' (11–20 November). We will be previewing a programme that showcases the best in the latest humanities research, exploring everything from COP26 in Glasgow to Caribbean kitchens in Lincoln.

Hosted by festival director Professor Sarah Churchwell, we are also delighted to be joined by special guest Lemn Sissay OBE, who will share a few thoughts on the importance of the humanities. Tune in for a taster of this year’s festival and bring along a drink to toast to its success!
