The Legal Education Research Networks Annual Showcasing Event

The annual LERN Showcasing Event will showcase six research projects funded by LERN on a wide and exciting range of topics. This is an invaluable opportunity to not only learn about the research findings but to hear from the researchers about their experiences of doing the work itself. For researchers planning or developing a project, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Special guest and Key Note speaker:  Professor Dame Hazel Genn, an exceptionally experienced and innovative researcher. She will share with us her thoughts and reflections on her research activities.

Important celebrations: We hope you will be there with us to thank Prof. Patricia Leighton for all the great work she has done as a Co-Director of LERN for so many years. It will be a good opportunity to welcome the new co-director, Professor Lisa Webley

The research being presented is as follows:

  • Jane Williams, Swansea University, ’Public Legal education for Children and Young Persons in Wales’
  • Emma Jones, Open University, ‘Admission Tutors’ perceptions of the Purpose of the Law Degree’
