In this session, we will introduce you to the basic principles of 3D printing. You’ll learn where to find a 3D object online, how to prepare it for printing, and get hands-on experience with the 3D printers in the Senate House MakerSpace. The session also serves as the safety induction for the printers – meaning you’ll be able to use them by yourself for future projects.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own personal laptop if you can. We will provide some computers for attendees to use as well.

If you bring your own computer, please download the following before the session.

We’d also recommend watching these videos that introduce the basic concepts behind 3D printing.

All welcome
