Are you passionate about book history, material culture, or the art of letterpress? Join us for an immersive workshop exploring the history of print and the hands-on technical processes of letterpress printing! In this session, you'll learn the fundamentals of letterpress, from composing type to pulling prints. You’ll get the chance to set type and print a pre-designed keepsake on our tabletop press. All materials will be provided.

Whether you’re interested in experiential research with historical printing technologies or simply curious about the craft, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the equipment available at the MakerSpace at the School of Advanced Study.
