Warburg ‘dedicated to the survival of antiquity’

Thursday 9 November 2017

The Warburg Institute is name-checked in a Scoop review of The Expatriates. The book tells the history of four ‘extraordinary’ New Zealanders including Joe Trapp, whose story ‘mostly unfolds through his association with the Warburg Institute in London, an organisation dedicated to the survival of antiquity and “its influence on culture in all its forms’’’. The institute is also mentioned in an ABC Australia article entitled 'The University is dead, long live the academy! Reflections on the future of knowledge'.
