Dr Philip Carter's ‘The king of King's Cross’ feature, first published on the School’s Talking Humanities blog, has been republished by the Knowledge Quarter.  In the article, the senior lecturer and head of IHR Digital at the Institute of Historical Research (IHR), considers the life of Henry Croft, founder of the Pearly Kings, and outlines how recreating his life story owes much to a growing range of digitised resources available to historians.
