Colin Blakemore discusses the Human Mind Project on Radio 4’s Today programme

Professor Colin Blakemore, director of the Centre for the Study of the Senses at the Institute of Philosophy, discussed the launch of the Human Mind Project with Professor Marina Warner (University of Essex) on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme this morning. The project, led by Professor Blakemore, is an international, interdisciplinary effort to define the major intellectual challenges in understanding the nature and significance of the human mind. Professor Warner is a member of the project steering group. The Human Mind Project will be launched this evening at a free public debate on ‘What’s so special about the human mind?’ in the Beveridge Hall, 5-6pm.
