Black Britain Seminars

Tuesday 20 January 2009

The Institute of Commonwealth Studies is delighted to announce the start of a new seminar series – Black Britain.  These seminars will run once a month from January and their subjects cover a wide spectrum of topics, ranging from The African Presence in Britain 1500-1640 to The Negro Welfare Association 1931 – 1937.  These seminars run from 6pm-7.30pm, are free, and open to all.  Due to the relocation of ICwS to Senate House, these seminars will take place in a variety of locations – this information can be found on both the ICwS and SAS events calendar, as well as details of the other seminar topics.
