Simonetta Agnello Hornby is an English solicitor. In 2000 she became a writer. She has written six novels based in Sicily and two in England, her second country. She Will speak about her writing of the past and the present, of her research, of the 'memoria collettiva', and of her particular mixture of Italian and Sicilian languages.
