Research Skills Workshops
The School's Research Training Handbook 2009-10 is now online.
The School organises a programme of weekly Research Skills Workshops which run from December 2009 to May 2010. The Workshops focus on transferable skills and employability training for our research students and early-career researchers. [Click here for a Word version of the full skills workshops programme.]
The Workshops complement the other School research and skills training on offer, which comprises (as well as online training):
research methodologies programme;
managing information for research;
Institute-based subject-specific training;
careers events.
The Workshops are open to research students in the humanities and social sciences from outside the School. In order to attend
- if you are a SAS student, please try to register in advance with Rosemary Lambeth (rosemary.lambeth@sas.ac.uk);
- if you are a student at a College that is a member of the Bloomsbury Postgraduate Skills Network (including Birkbeck, SOAS, the Institute of Education and UCL) please book your place via the BPSN Network website;
- if you are a student from another institution, please contact Rosemary Lambeth (rosemary.lambeth@sas.ac.uk) to book a place.
