Institute of Commonwealth Studies Library

The ICwS Library is a major resource for those working on the Commonwealth as a whole, or on any of its member states in the fields of history, politics and international relations, agriculture, education, the environment, and social questions.

It houses over 190,000 volumes and specialises in providing material that is unavailable elsewhere in the UK or, in some cases, in the country of origin.

The Institute of Commonwealth Studies Library is located within Senate House Library. The opening image (above) is the view you will see when you enter Senate House Library (4th floor, Senate House). The Membership Desk is directly ahead, with the entry gates located to the right.
