Ms Vanessa Holzer
Vanessa Holzer is a PhD candidate at the Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, focussing on “war refugees” and the 1951 Refugee Convention. As a consultant for UNHCR, she is conducting a study on the protection of people fleeing conflict and violence under the 1951 Refugee Convention. Currently a Visiting Fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge, Vanessa was previously a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg and a Visiting Fellow at the Refugee Studies Centre in Oxford.
