Ms Luisa Feline Freier
Feline Freier is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Government of the London School of Economics (LSE). Feline studies the political determinants of contemporary flows of African migrants and refugees towards Latin America. More specifically, she examines how changes in the visa and asylum policies of both Europe and Latin America impacted these flows. Her study applies the IMPALA methodology to code asylum and visa policies in Latin American, and thus creates an innovative, comparable policy dataset for Latin America.
