Mr Ruvi Ziegler
Ruvi Ziegler is a D.Phil. (Doctoral) Candidate in Human Rights Law at Lincoln College, University of Oxford. His thesis, supervised by Professor Guy S. Goodwin-Gill (All Souls College), assesses whether persons who are recognised as refugees based on the criteria set in the 1951 Geneva Convention are entitled to vote in elections held by their countries of asylum. He is a part-time researcher at the Israel Democracy Institute, and convenes the Oxford Law Faculty's "Human Rights Discussion Group", as well as co organises the "Israel: Historical, Political and Social Aspects" academic lecture series.
