Dr Paresh Kathrani
Paresh Kathrani manages the RLI’s refugee protection activities under the strategy devised by the Director. He is a Lecturer in Law at the School of Law, University of Westminster, where he teaches Public and Administrative Law and Refugee Law on the UN System for the Protection of Human Rights. His academic work looks at the confluence of ‘refugee law and theory’, particularly the perception and treatment of asylum seekers as outsiders and he is undertaking interdisciplinary research in existentialism and the experience of applying for asylum.
