SAS-Space Collection of the Month for May: Research papers from Visiting Fellows to the Institute of Germanic & Romance Studies

Tuesday 24 April 2012

The SAS-Space Collection of the Month for May is a collection of paper from Visiting Fellows to the Institute of Germanic & Romance Studies (IGRS). The collection is an eclectic mix, with topics as diverse as student protest in Italy, Muslim identity in contemporary German fiction, and 'The Wicker Man'.

During 2011, collection papers were downloaded on average 40 times each, with the most popular item, on the operettas of Franz Lehar, being accessed some 93 times. The collection is an excellent demonstration of the range of research that is carried out in association with the School.

Further information on visiting fellowship opportunities at the IGRS is available from the Institute’s research and fellowships webpages.

SAS-Space is the institutional repository for the School of Advanced Study. The mission of SAS-SPACE is to provide a stable, well-managed, permanent archive for digital scholarly and research materials of enduring value produced at, or in association with, the School.
