Refugee Law Initiative accepts invitation to partner the Refugee Research Network

Thursday 24 May 2012

The Refugee Law Initiative (RLI) at the School of Advanced Study, University of London has accepted an invitation to partner with the Refugee Research Network, run out of the Center for Refugee Studies at York University (Canada).

The Refugee Research Network seeks to generate and mobilise knowledge among scholars, practitioners and policymakers to benefit people who have been forcibly displaced. Its aim is to build a network of networks to promote connections throughout the field of refugee and forced migration studies.

The Refugee Law Initiative, based at the Human Rights Consortium of the School of Advanced Study, is the only academic centre in the UK to concentrate specifically on international refugee law. As a national focal point for leading and promoting research in this field, it works to integrate the shared interests of refugee law scholars and practitioners, stimulate collaboration between academics and non-academics, and achieve policy impact at the national and international level.
