Peter Webster's article on Open Access published in Research Fortnight

Peter Webster, manager of SAS-Space, the institutional repository for the School of Advanced Study, has had an article published in Research Fortnight, the magazine for research-based funding opportunities and news about research policy.

Humanities left behind in the dash for open access points out the current gap between the humanities and the physical sciences with regard to the take-up of Open Access publishing, and some reasons for it. It examines some of the possible risks to humanities scholarship in a transition to a new mode of publishing based on the needs of the sciences.
