Over 100,000 podcast views on School of Advanced Study YouTube channel

More than 100,000 podcasts have been viewed from the School of Advanced Study (SAS) YouTube channel since November 2011. In 2013 alone, podcasts on the channel received over 54,000 views.

YouTube became the School’s main video streaming service for podcasts in November 2011, with the launch of its new website and during that time over 500 videos have been uploaded to the channel. The majority of these podcasts are recordings of selected School events.

The School’s podcasts are also freely available via the University of London’s iTunes U platform, which recently reached its own milestones with more than 305,000 platform views and in excess of 230,000 views and downloads. Launched in June 2011, the SAS-managed platform hosts content from SAS, the University of London International Programmes, the Careers Group, the University of London Computer Centre, and Birkbeck, University of London.
