Invitation to Participate in Rights and Humanity's Global Leaders Congress

Professor Julia Häusermann MBE, Founder and President of Rights and Humanity, has great pleasure in inviting you or your colleague to participate in the Global Leaders Congress, September 11-14, Liverpool, UK.

We are currently offering discounts for the Congress to Academic, NGOs and faith groups. The prices are £90 for participation of the 4 days, which includes lunch for 3 days. We currently have places for our dinner on the Sunday 11th September with Justice Albie Sachs and price for dinner is £70.

This solutions-oriented working meeting will develop an urgent  Call For Action  to promote global cooperation around existing initiatives and new solutions to pressing global challenges such as food, fuel and water scarcity, climate change, disasters of unprecedented size and the global financial crisis.

I am delighted to say that Justice Albie Sachs, the renowned anti-apartheid and human rights activist, and Judge of the South African Constitutional Court, the Hon Charity Nguila, the Kenyan Minister of Water and Irrigation, Ms Bianca Jagger, Ms Baria Alamuddin, Foreign Editor of Al Hayat, Professor Li JI Xing, founder of the Applied Philosophical Balance Theory, is the director and researcher of Beijing University’s China Center for Balance Theory Research. He is also the Secretary-General of International Integrity Society, Mr Vincent Neate is a partner at KPMG who leads the Climate Change & Sustainability practices in KPMG Europe LLP and KPMG UK, Professors Kate Pickett and Richard Wilkinson: co-authors of 'The Spirit Level: Why More Equal Societies Almost Always Do Better', Cllr Gary Millar and Ms Molly Harvey, the inspirational speaker and business coach, have all agreed to be speakers along with others.  We had confirmation that Mr Felix Finkbeiner, (aged 13) a remarkable young man from Germany who has founded a global children's initiative to plant millions of trees to combat climate change, will also be joining us to speak in our opening session on Sunday 11 September.
