Open Days

School of Advanced Study Open Day
The School Open Day offers a fantastic opportunity to find out more about postgraduate opportunities at the School and its Institutes. Prospective students are warmly invited to attend our Open Day and meet with teaching, supervisory and student support staff, and current and past students. The next School Open Day will take place in February 2011.
You will have the opportunity to attend a range of optional sessions and tours, including:
- Institute and course presentations
- Funding your study
- Careers
- What is a PhD?
- Research training
- Individual consultation with academic staff
- University of London Bloomsbury precinct tours
- Library tours

| 18.00-19.00 | Reception; Dean's welcome; an informal opportunity to talk further with academic and student support staff |
The Open Day schedule is designed to enable you to choose the sessions that are of most interest to you from the selection of optional presentations and tours. If you are unable to attend activities during the afternoon, the evening reception offers another opportunity to meet with staff, current students and alumni of the School and its Institutes.

University of London Postgraduate Open Evening
Each year the University of London holds a postgraduate open evening enabling prospective students to explore the range of opportunities at its Colleges and Institutes. School staff are available to discuss postgraduate study and research opportunities as well as the range of research and study resources and facilities that the School provides to postgraduate students and researchers as part of its national research promotion and facilitation role. The most recent open evening took place on 19 November 2009. The next open evening is planned to take place in November 2010.
